Phin is the Managing Partner of Haymaker Ventures. Previously he spent almost a decade at Thiel Capital investing in fintech companies collaborating with Matt Danzeisen. He has also been an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, Rothschild, and Lazard. Phin earned a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A, and Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Olivia Baribeau

Olivia is responsible for investment sourcing and analytics. Prior to joining Haymaker, Olivia was a senior manager of customer operations and strategy at CoverWallet and worked as an equity research associate at MFS Investment Management. Olivia received her MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management and an undergraduate degree in Economics at Colby College.

Jennifer Dashek

Jennifer is responsible for all operational and financial matters at Haymaker. Prior to joining Haymaker, Jennifer was a tax professional at Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, Controller for PEAK6 and Teza Technologies. Most recently she was a director of financial controls at Citadel. Jennifer received her MBA at Kellogg-Northwestern and an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, and Management at the University of Wisconsin- Madison.

Joe Bejany

Joe focuses on identifying new investments and working with Haymaker’s portfolio company CEOs. Before this, Joe was the co-founder and COO of BlockRank and worked in strategy and analytics at Capital One as well as tech M&A at Qatalyst Partners. He earned an MBA at University of Chicago and a BS in Statistical Science, Finance, and Mathematics at Duke University.

Matt Danzeisen

Matt serves as the Head of the Investment Advisory Committee of Haymaker Ventures. At Thiel Capital he has spent a decade working on private investments, where he collaborated with Phin Upham. Matt was previously a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at BlackRock in fixed income and an investment banker at Bank of America Securities. Matt graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Economics and is a CFA charter holder.
